Homestead Poi focuses on feeding the Waiahole and Koʻolaupoko, Oʻahu by providing poi & produce to community members at Ben Parker Farmer’s Market. Surplus poi & produce extend to Kailua, Oʻahu members through Hale Ke Aloha ʻAi Pono and Mōʻiliʻili folks at Kōkua Market on King St.
Homestead Poi is founded by Hanale M. Bishop, taro farmer and singer/songwriter. Hanale is partners at the farm with his father Daniel Bishop and Chance V. Tom. Poi-making is a community endeavor with his spouse, Meghan Leialoha Au, and their family and friends.
Hanale can be contacted through email at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can follow HOMESTEAD POI Hanale Bishop on facebook to see latest posts regarding the farm and Hanale’s music career and visit his Hanale Bishop Music website as well.
