Poi

We harvest taro from the farm in Waiahole and buy taro from local farmers as well.  Our poi is made fresh weekly in the Waianu Poi Factory rented from neighboring farmers & long-time mentors, the Reppuns.

Ben Parker Farmers Market: We offer our poi Saturday mornings, 8:30am until we sell out.  You can buy 1 lb. bags @ $6/lb. from us at this location.

Hale Ke Aloha Ai Pono: On Friday afternoons we also drive in to Kailua Town and deliver fresh poi to this wonderful family-owned Hawaiian Food Restaurant. Their squid luau is one of our favorites🙂 You might taste our poi on their delicious plates.

Taking a break from Kōkua Market: We have been feeding folks closer to home and haven’t had too much surplus poi recently for our town side ʻohana. We heard that Hāloa Poi is in stock at Kōkua, look for your poi there!

~ Our current blend is made from ALL Waiāhole, Oʻahu taro (August 10, 2016). Featured varieties include: moi, mana lau loa, pilialoha, piko kea, palehua, lihilihi molina ~

Aloha Keʻalohi, thanks for the comment! Sorry about the late response. If you are still interested in the salves, you can email thelotusblossominyou@yahoo.com. I have maybe 1 tenderizer salve on hand and will have another batch ready after we come back from a food conference in November.
